Brief Description: LSE to firewall and some fiberglass
I made up the short runs of coax from the LSE boxes to the firewall today. Klaus will not approve but I insist on sealed passthroughs for my firewall. Wait till I chop the sensor leads and pin them through a cannon plug. But it's much better than trying to pass the d-sub connector through a firewall. This is something he shouild include in the package since he requires the control boxes be aft of the firewall - make some kind of sensible way to pass the harnesses through ... like I'm doing. Grousing aside, I really like the LSE system in my RV-6A and am looking forward to using it in the -10.
While I was at it, I used a bit of flox to fill the mis-drilled holes for the cabin brace and the left rosen sunshade. When the flox had set, I filed the areas smooth and will re-drill later.
