After a long hiatus, it's time to start building again. I spent the previous day cleaning the shop and deciding how to proceed. First I knew that the aft O2 stations needed a spacer so they would fit through the console, so I added a balsa block. This is glued in with CyA and will be glassed before the click-bond studs are added, which will bring it to the right height. I also pondered ideas for mounting a speaker and finally settled on the easiest, a 4.5" hole cut in the console. The speaker was fitted with nut clips and the grill and screws serve to hold it in position. The speaker is a very tight fit and removal, if ever needed, will probably be a problem requiring fabrication of an access panel.
