I disassembled the subpanel structure (reteived from the hangar) and then reassmbled it with the panel to make sure the cutouts were still correct and had enough clearance to allow the installation of caterpillar grommet in the cutouts. It also allowed me to see where some of the cableing wouuld need to be attached to the structure, so I can install platenuts, etc. as required. Finally, I noticed I would have to make a small opening for the pitot/static lines going from the Dynon to the Garmin system. Everything fit amazingly (especially since there had been some small changes in the panel since I received the subpanel structure), with the exception of one relay attached to the Garmin rack. You can see it in the third picture; I had to rotate it slightly for the initial fit. A quick call to Aerotronics confirmed that I could slide it outboard for a permanent location that would not rub the structure.
