Brief Description:  Remove panel from airframe

I hated this decision but with a non-functioning VP-200 system and support dropped a few weeks ago, I had no choice. I've discussed redoing the panel with two VP-X systems and GRT Sports to act as my backup EFIS instead of the Dynon (doing double duty to act as displays for the VP systems) with Aerotronics, and so the panel is going back. At least I will have minimal rewiring to do in the aircraft.

Some good news with this: Garmin finally said that updating the transponder for ADS-B would not cause a problem even though the software has not yet been written for the G900-X system. So I can at least get the hardware updated.

Other good news, the plug and play panel design let me get the panel out in fairly short order. Of course, it would have taken much longer if the front deck had been riveted in. Even though the VP CU mounts were fairly modular, access is tight. I also had to remove the Bowden cables for the cabin heat. Most of the rest was simply a matter of unhooking connectors. I'll add a picture of the empty fuselage later, while I'm cleaning up some structure mods made with the panel in place.
