I covered the panel and front seat area to keep dust out and then trimmed the flange around the pilot's door. It was a rough trim, as I will be cutting it back for a McMaster-Carr door seal. I then tested the fit of the pilot's door inner section, which was pretty good. The outer door did not fit so well, but I have not trimmed the window area yet so it may be the joggle there causing problems. In any case, I intend to take my cue from others who went before me and ignore the window area clecos until the rest of the door is fitted, as the upper ones seem to be out of alignment. Too much sawdust and some questions about fit made me stop here while I go and read up on the forums about this area.
