After adjusting the pitch pushrods, I tested the control sticks and determined exactly how much to shorten them. Cutting the tubes with a hacksaw was pretty easy and then I used the spacers that came with the Infinity grips as a template to drill the top and make a slot for the wiring. You can see in image 1 that the grip is canted. In this case, it is the pilot grip and is canted so that the grip is comfortable for the left hand whiile the pilot's right hand would be covering the engine controls or operating the panel. The co-pilot's side is a mirror-image. The succeeding two images show the finished grip in normal operation and in use with the off hand, which is still fairly comfortable with the hand about 1/2" lower and the palm loose over the spare button. The sticks were reinstalled and clearance verified.
