It only took a couple of minutes to trim the forward posts on both the airframe and cabin top. With the interferance out of the way, the top fit perfectly. Next I clecoed the forward aft skin on and was pleased to see that the top was snug against it. Following the instructions, I drilled the skin to the cabin top, and followed with the side skins to the door area. I only drilled #40 to be sure everything matched, and I'll final-drill to #30 when I add the backing strips. With the aft part in place, I clamped the aft door and drilled the post to the door frame. Then I drilled the front post in the same manner, adding the gusset and bending the top portion (Image 1). Finally, I marked and drilled the locations in the bottom section. No holes were drilled to final size yet but the cabin top is on and pretty tight for the fit.
