Brief Description: Install brakes, rudder cables
I installed the brake line fittings to the brakes, reversing one set. I then installed the brakes on the wheels. Next, I installed the Bonaco flex lines from the fuselage to the brakes and used friction tape to locate the lines along the gear leg, leaving a service loop near the brake end and making sure nothing would rub.
Then I ran the rudder cables from the back to the front. Since the instructions had had me install snap bushings as I progressed, this meant taking the bushings out, passing the cable throiugh the bushing, and then replacing the bushing. I loosely located the entrance and exit tubes but did not secure the ends until the rudder can be installed for a test fit.
With a little extra time on my hands, I took some ladder skid material and trimmed it into skids for the steps. Then I cleaned the steps with mineral spirits and applied the skids to the steps.
