In an effort to get the fuselage on it's gear, I inserted the main gear legs. The left one took a bit of work but the right one slid in easily. I left them pinned with punches until a 7.9mm reamer arrives next week. Then I installed the bearings and nose gear leg to the engine mount. After that I assembled the front fork and attached it to the gear leg. I tightened the nut until the fork had the proper breakout force and then inserted the cotter pins. Next I assembled the elastomers to the nose link and assembed it to the nose gear. I'll turn back to joining the fuselage now, while I wait for the correct nosewheel and modified axel, plus the previously mentioned reamer.
