After finishing those 33 rivets left over from yesterday, I turneed back to the rudder trim tab. I dimpled the skins and hinges and countersunk the control horn before riveting the parts together. I will need to trim the foam filler a bit more before I can glue them in, as the tab seems a bit wider than the rudder side of the cut.
Phil machined me a doubler for the servo opening, which came out nice. I need to match-drill the rivets holding it onto the skin and then add nutplates for the cover screws.
Just before the EAA meeting tonight, several people showed up and helped me flip the fuselage. Now I can start working on joining the fuselage halves.
