Brief Description:  Finish riveting and mate fwd and mid fuselage

Major distraction this morning when an RV-4 showed up with the break lines melted (the pilot - not the builder - had ridden the brakes but was unaware that the builder had used plastic instead of the aluminum called for in the plans). After helping the pilot, a guest of Brad Ransom - another RV-pilot at KFLG, rebuild the line connections so he could get home and begin the replacement, my morning schedule was shot. Then I got Phil Cobbin to help me rivet the bottom skins and he immediately noticed I had failed to dimple the fuselage bulkheads to match the bottom skin. Since the skin was already ProSealed to the firewall, I didn't want to separate them so Phil spent some time machining a die mount for my rivet gun and we modified a bucking bar to take another die. Judith showed up and we used the new tools to dimple the builkheads in place. Then, when she had to leave, Phil returned and helped me buck the bulkhead rivets. After that, I did the other miscellaneous riveting before installing the center builkhead and then mated the forward and center sections of the fuselage in preparation for riveting the joining skins.

Rivet count: 110 Total: 9171 - Plus 549 done at Van's
