Brief Description: Start disassebmling fwd fuselage, prep for rivetin
Today was a lazy day after breakfast flight to Payson. I pulled the system brackets off the fuselage and deburred them before dimpling all but the end rivet holes. I also pulled the L & R Center Section Side pieces and discovered that I had marked the elliptical opening from the bottom skin but never saw a step to remove the material. The second and third pictures show the before and after; I just used the grinder to carefully shape the cutout to the marks and then finished on the scotch-brite wheel. I removed the blue plastic and countersunk the holes on the bottom for the dimpled bottom skin and then deburred all the holes and edges.
