Brief Description: Riveted outboard seat ribs, assembled to rear spar
For Christmas, Judith got me a numbered drill bit set with holder. Now I don't have to squint at the numbers on the bit shanks any more. Today I got to try them out a bit (excuse the pun). I finished drilling the outer ribs and then deburred everything. Next, I dimpled the parts and countersunk the seat belt anchor bar for the nutplate rivets. Then I riveted everything.
Next, I assembled the ribs to the rear spar half and final-drilled the holes. Then I deburred the holes and assembled the outboard ribs and bolted them in place in preparation for riveting. I removed the inboard ribs, disassembled the flap motor mount, and deburred everything. Then I assembled the T fitting for the heat vent, which is when Judith invited me to lunch, so I will pick up from there next time.
