Brief Description:  FWF routings, FAB/cowl scoop connection

Glued foam sandwich into cowl at scoop opening. While waiting for epoxy to set, worked on wire routings on right side of engine. Added cabin heat tubing and connected permanent charger line to battery.

Once the foam was set, located cowling to fuselage and used a rasp to carve out the path between the opening and the FAB, Then removed the cowling and sanded prior to glassing. Took the cowl to Jack Keegan's hangar, where we laid in 3 layers of bid at 45 degrees to make the interface between the cowl and the FAB. You can see from the picture that we deliberately laid it up long; first trim will be at the foam and the next one about 1/4" to make the required gap. While we were laying up glass, we filled in the inner opening on the ramps glued into the upper cowl from yesterday. This will prevent air from bleeding over from the cool side of the cowl to the hot side without passing over the engine fins. Now the top cowl only needs some build up behind the spinner so that I can fit that better and reinforcing/fairing layups over the glued areas from yesterday.
