Placed top cowling in position and used backlighting to determine trim line. Trimmed cowling using cutoff wheel and final sanded to trim line. Measured fastener spacing on .050" strip and marked scalloping for fastener tabs. Cut inner radius with unibit and rest of scalloping with shears. Located and drilled strip to top firewall flange. Checked fit of cowling with strip in place.
