Brief Description: Removed tanks to reinstall senders
Per Blue Mountain Avionics, I removed the fuel tanks from the wings so that the senders could be reinstalled with shoulder washers to electrically isolate them. At the same time, I opened the end panel to inspect the pickups for compliance with Van's AD. New gaskets will be ordered for end panels and senders before reinstalling.
With the panel running off battery, called FLG ground and was heard; informed them that I would ops check the ELT. Continuity testing showed that the splice had been cross-wired, so it was corrected and the ELT ops-checked OK.
Also attempted to ops-check the autopilot but it failed to communicate to the servos.
