Instructinos say to dimple the other side where the tank attaches. that is for the screws that go into plate nuts on the back of the stirp. Problem is that the plate nuts aren't countersunk for the dimple to rest in. So, time to call Mr. Van and find out if it should be machined instead.
Pic 3 is so nice. Tank and leading edge on the wing......but it is really a sham. So close but so very far away.
