Brief Description: Continued dimpling, preped VS edges,
All HS and VS parts are hung in the spare room on para-cord and are ready fro acetone and prime. We are shooting these with Sherwin Williams 988 self etching primer, but it really sucks to spray from the rattle cans. 2 out of 5 sprayed only a thin straight stream instead of a mist. A real nightmare. We are getting a zip gun from Spruce and using the PPG tow part DX self etching wash primer after this. Met John Marshall, our EAA tech counselor and RV guru. He has a great private strip and two hangars for building RVs. We are going to take the HS out there so he can show us how to close it with no blind rivets!!! and he will inspect oour handy work.Saw an RV-7 and RV-8 near completion in hisshop. Also had a metal cub wing, pitts tail, and harmon rocket in various stated of repair or construction. Very cool!
