October work done Review swage fittings with LB International Make proof test fitting for swage test Make aluminium spar bushes * 10 Drill spar for 3/8" bushes - trial drill hinges - too hard from brazing - need to make new ones Cut out 4130 plate for rudder cable brackets - ready to bend Trial fit of mixture control cable Fabricate rudder cable brackets Fabricate seat belt brackets Ream out 1/2" and 3/8" spar mounting holes and varnish Drill hinges with carbide drill and drill out rudder and fin mounting holes to 5mm Instrument panel - pick up aluminium water jet cut panel and trial fit instruments Assemble elevator and hinges and check assembly - drill out holes 5mm Check assembly and cut out for horn in fin. Make fuel tank straps jig Control stick modifications - new centre section - drill out brass bushes from pivots Machine brass bushes for control stick and aluminium bushes for spar Check assembly - grind and drill new control stick bracket ready for welding Brake cylinder brackets Weld brackets and fit to rudder pedals - weld bracket to control stick Cowl fasteners secure 4 fasteners on one side
