Re-installed landing light and lens (refer to page 40-09, steps 7, 8, and 9).
Stripped wires at inboard end and crimped on ES-00079 floating connector pins. Also, did ground wire. Something told me to verify the fuselage pin outs were correct. Ran into conflicting information for the landing light pulse wire between Section 31A, Section 31B, and the wiring diagram (for finishing kits after 8-25-11). Here’s what I found:
• The wiring diagram on page 7 shows the landing light pulse wire B213 going through RH wing connector pin 5, to the yellow wire (L73) leading to Option harness connector pin 31.
• Page 31A-04, figure 2 and Page 31A-05, figure 2 show wire B213 for landing light pulse going to wing connector pin 5. This matches the wiring diagram.
• Page 31B-18, figure 2 shows the yellow wire (L73) connecting to the RH fuselage connector pin 3. This is how I have the RH fuselage connector currently set up. I verified continuity between pin 3 and the Option harness connector pin 31.
• That means the landing light pulse wire from the wing is connected to pin 5 and the corresponding fuselage connector is to pin 3.
Question to Van's is which pin at the RH wing connector is the correct pin (3 or 5) for the landing light pulse wire.

Attached pin on two new wires at wing tip and inserted into RH wing extension connector. Re-wired RH wing light connector by separating Nav/Strobe pin into separate pins and inserted separate nav power pin, strobe power pin, and strobe synch pin into connector. Secured wires with tie wrap. Marked connector and connected both ends together. (page 31A-06, steps 1 through 11 - RH side).
Page 31A-06 is complete.
Using a power supply, verified that landing light steady, landing light pulse, nav (green), and strobe lights worked correctly.
