Inspected baggage floor rivets from last night and noticed a problem with one of the rivets in the F-1224-L baggage floor to the F-1204D center section aft bulkhead. Reference page 21-02, step 2. The rivet in question is the one just inboard from the LP4-3 rivet callout in Figure 1. When I squeezed the AN470AD4-9 rivet, the head was not fully seated, so I drilled it out and squeezed another one. I didn’t realize that I drilled out the first rivet at an angle until after squeezing the second rivet. It looks like the backside of the hole has a binocular shape. Email sent to Van's Technical Support for advice on how to proceed.
Riveted F-1206B-L & -R rear spar receptacle supports and F-1206C rear spar receptacles to F-1206A bulkhead. Also attached rivets to top flange of bulkhead. Dimpled and riveted nutplates to F-1206G-L & -R baggage ribs. Built bearing bracket assemblies. (page 21-02, steps 8, and 10 through 14).
