Lightly sanded underside of canopy fiberglass layup to remove rough spots, then cleaned with alcohol. (steps 1 and 2)
Measured, cut, and installed forward seal under fiberglass layup along forward edge. (steps 3 through 7)
Applied modeling clay on upper forward fuselage skin in area where canopy forward seal hits and marked location on upper forward fuselage skin. (step 8)

Cleaned panel base with alcohol, applied red RTV at canopy rib intersection, and installed previously fabricated base seals. Plans called for clear silicone sealant but used red RTV since that's what I had. (steps 1 through 4)
Temporarily held canopy rib vertical seals in position, pushed at edge of upper forward fuselage skin to mark height, then cut 1/4" longer than mark. (step 5)

Page 34-22
Using canopy rib vertical seals as is (not using alternative 3M 1099 adhesive - rest of step 1 is NA). Applied red RTV at lower end of base seals and peeled backing from vertical seals. (step 1)
Attached vertical seal, following reference mark curvature. Waiting for sealant to cure. (steps 2 and 3)

Page 34-23
Fabricated four foam plugs, folded back so adhesive held folded position, and installed in openeings at each of of canopy square tubes.
