Brief Description: Finished Cooling System Installation
Page 49-14 & 49-21 Had very small gaps at front oval opening of bottom cowl so filled with Bondo. Sanded/refilled, as necessary for smooth blend. (step 10) Filled cleco holes with flox epoxy mixture and ensured drain holes are still open. (step 11) Copied and printed label on page 49-21, glued to cowl duct, and brush coated with epoxy resin. (step 12) PAGE 49-14 & 49-21 ARE COMPLETE
Page 49-16 Received more heat shield from Van's. Used mis-cut bottom shield as a template and cut new bottom piece. Installed and rubbed into place. (step 4 - complete) Sealed edges of heat shield with epoxy resin. (step 5) PAGE 49-16 IS COMPLETE
Page 49-19 Cut SCAT hose to 11 inches. (step 1) Installed SCAT hose to cooling shroud and secured with hose clamp. Will install and secure SCAT hose to bottom cowl opening next time cowling is installed. PAGE 49-19 IS COMPLETE
