Removed detent bracket assembly and tried to slip seat floor cover over flap handle. The cover does not clear the wing spars so had to remove the wings. Slide floor cover over flap handle and secured cover to the floor with four screws. Did not have any AN515-8R8 screws so had to order them and will have to install them later. Will consider this step done. Re-installed wings. Looks like the two aft crews holes are accessible under the wing spar. (step 2)
Installed crotch straps with called out hardware, but the bolt appeared to be too long. Checked Van's website and saw that there was a 12/10/2015 update to Section 33 that called out 2X the NAS1149F0463P washers. I did that and the nut still bottomed out on the shank of the bolt. Added one more washer so that the nut could be torqued. Three washers total were used on each crotch strap. Probably could have used a AN4-5A bolt but did not have any. (step 4)
Installed the seat ramp cover and secured with screws. (step 5 - partial)
