Brief Description:  Bonded Cooling Duct to Bottom Cowl

Cleaned all bonding surfaces with clean rag and Acetone, then installed oil cooler box assembly. (step 1)

Prepared two separate cups of epoxy. One was the epoxy resin only and the other cup included flox in the epoxy resin. Added flox epoxy resin mixture to ziplock bag and cutout hole for piping. (steps 2 and 3)

Brushed light coat of epoxy resin on bonding surfaces of cooling duct and duct interface. Added bead of flox epoxy resin around aft perimeter of cooling duct. With Denise's help, installed duct interface onto cooling duct and clecoed into place. Cleaned up excess flox epoxy resin with popsicle stick. (step 4)

Brushed light coat of epoxy resin on bonding surfaces of cooling duct and bottom cowl. Added bead of flox epoxy resin around flange areas of cooling duct. With Denise's help, installed cooling duct onto bottom cowl and clecoed into place. Cleaned up excess flox epoxy resin with popsicle sticks. (step 5)

Applied two strips of fiberglass to each of the three locations called out in the plans. (steps 6 through 8)

With Denise's help, installed the bottom cowl and top cowl and secured with all of the required pins and screws. (step 9)
