Decided to finish the cooler door before installing the radiator, hence, out-of-sequence page numbering.
Page 49-10
Ensured that heater cable wire is installed and cooler box door closed. Installed rod end and jamnut into cable end and temporarily attached to cooler box bracket. With 1/16" gap between knob and panel, marked location of cable wire at hole in cable end. Disassembled rod end, jamnut and cable from bracket. (steps 1 through 3)
Bent heater cable wire where marked in previous step and trimmed excess cable wire. (step 4)
Inserted cable wire into cable end and installed cotter pin, rotated 90 degress, and bent legs around cable end. (steps 5 and 6)
Installed rod end into cable end and bottomed against wire, then tightened jamnut. Attached rod end to cooler door bracket. (steps 6 and 7)
Cooler door operated fine but did not close tightly. Loosened two clamps at bottom of engine mount ring and pushed cable outboard so door was fully closed, then tightened clamps. Safety-wired each side of left clamp to prevent any slippage. (step 9)

Page 49-05
Bolted heat exchanger to firewall and cooler box face/ribs. Required mount holes to be slotted and three AN960-10L washers at each inboard mount location to get proper gap between heat exchanger and ribs. (steps 1 and 2)
Installed seal face and secured to heat exchanger at the top and bottom with red RTV and duct tape. Masked off heat exchange face and applied fillet seal around perimeter. (step 3)
Installed upper and lower radiator hoses to heat exchanger. Secured lower radiator hose to nose gear leg with cushion clamp. (steps 4 and 5)

Installed overflow bottle hose to expansion tank. What a PITA! Tie wrapped hose. (steps 1 and 2)
Installed upper radiator hose to expansion tank and lower radiator hose to water inlet elbow. (steps 3 and 4)
