Brief Description:  Installed Throttle & Choke Cables (2 of 2)

This the second of two entries for today's efforts.

Swapped out throttle return springs. Was able to use fingers so avoided marking up springs with needle nose pliers. (steps 1 and 2)
Routed each throttle cable through cable brackets, centered threaded portion in cable bracket, and tightened nuts. (step 3)
Inserted cable through stop nut, then through shank of control cable bolt. Loosely tightened hardware. I initially missed the subtlety of the plans to swap out the bolt and nut but did catch it. (step 4)

Cut dowel that came with the throttle to 2-3/4" and used that as a spacer for the throttle knob at idle position with friction lock tightened. (step 1)
Actuated each throttle arm to idle stop, pulled cable to keep under tension, and tightened cable locking hardware. Did not have a torque wrench that read in the specification range of 8-10 inch-pounds so tightened using calibrated elbow. Moved stop nut against end of cable housing and tightened set screw. (step 2)
Loosened friction adjustment and removed dowel rod. (step 3)
Trimmed cable leads to 1/2" (plans say 1/4" but that seems too short to me - no interference after trim) and added heat shrink to prevent end of cables from fraying.

Moved choke cable handle all the way forward. (step 1)
Installed wire swivel in choke lever, then inserted cable through cable mount tube and into wire swivel, and finally cable conduit in cable mount tube. With tension on cable end, tightened wire swivel set screw. (steps 2 through 4)
Trimmed cable ends and added heat shrink to prevent end of cables from fraying. (step 5)
Actuated choke cable handle through full range of motion and verified that there's no interference. (step 6)
