Neighbor Bill once again provide valuable assistance in helping with the final fit of the top cowl and drilling of hinges.
Trimmed a little more of the top cowl along the side hinge line. Tried to let bottom cowl relax and flexed the top cowl, as required, to align to side hinge area while drilling.
Drilled and clecoed upper cowl hinges and side hinges to the top cowl. Drilled and clecoed mid cowl hinges and lower cowl hinges to bottom cowl. Did some minor sanding of the side hinge line to even out the gap. Turned out pretty well I think. (steps 5 through 8)
Machine countersunk holes in top and bottom cowls, removed hinges and deburred, then clecoed and riveted hinges to top and bottom cowl. (steps 9 through 14)
