Page 42F-02
Installed Duracell PX28L battery into cockpit remote and added faceplate per ELT instruction manual. Attached ELT remote to LH instrument panel and connected phone cable. Battery had a "Best Used By" date of March 2024 so I'll be using that as the battery replacement date. Not quite 10 years but it is what it is. (page 42F-02)

Installed Duracell CR-2 battery into audio alert. Battery had a "Best Used By" date of March 2024 so I'll be using that as the battery replacement date. Trial fit the ELT into the tray and disappointed to see that it did not fit. The aft end of the ELT hit the fuselage frame and likely would have hit the fuel tank if installed. A little bit of digging on Vansairforce revealed that the tray needs to be mounted about 9/16" forward. The ELT bracket had two sets of holes for the aft end of the tray mount and I chose the aft set instead of the forward set when match-drilling the forward tray mount holes. No mention of this in the plans. Need to drill out the rivets and start over. SD-42-BSLF rivets on order.
