Wired the ELT DIN aircraft plug in accordance with manual provided with ELT. Wires pinned out as follows (pin locations at plug end referenced in second photo): Pin 1 - lower right - ELT power (wht/red) Pin 2 - upper right - Test wire (white/blu) Pin 3 - upper left - Ground (shield of WH-F395 wire) Pin 4 - lower left - GPS receive (wire WH-F395)
Performed micro surgery by crimping pins on wires, installing heat shrink over each wire/pin, connected pins to DIN, soldered pins, and slide heat shrink over pins and shrunk. Use red RTV silicone sealant to seal wires in connector body, then slid cover over body. (step 1 - partial)
