Plans were not specific but had to remove three rivets from fuselage braces prior to drilling #19 holes. Used screw installed backwards through nutplate and drilled nutplate attach holes. Again, plans not specific but went ahead and countersunk rivet attach holes in fuselage brace to accomodate CCR rivets. Riveted nutplates to fuselage brace. (steps 1 and 2)
Attached antenna to ELT bracket, curved antenna, then installed and secured ELT bracket to fuselage brace. (steps 3 and 4)
Had to drill out old ELT angle that was installed April 2012 and rivet in new ELT angle F-12122. Clecoed tray to ELT angle and drilled holes into bulkhead caps. Removed tray and deburred. (step 5)
Riveted ELT tray and both retaining straps (paying attention to "FRONT" and "BATTERY" markings on strap) to ELT angle and bulkhead caps. (step 6)
