Brief Description:  Complied with Notification 14-05-14

Steps 1 through 9 are NA since aircraft is still under construction and tail cone fairing and stabilator not yet installed.

Inspected the four inner most forward inboard ribs and found no cracks. Was able to see the flanges clearly by looking through the aft lightening hole as specified in the notification. (step 9)

Inspected the two outboard ribs and found no cracks. The notification called for shining a light through the forward tooling hole and looking through the aft tooling hole. At first, this almost seemed like a joke but turned off all of the hangar lights and tried again. This time, a small portion of the flange was visible at a time and by moving my eye around the tooling hole was able to see the entire flange. (step 10)

This is a one time inspection and no cracks were found so no further action required. (step 12)

Step 13 and the following note are NA.

Since I do not have the Maintenance Manual yet, unable to specifically comply with step 14, however, am keeping a Service Bulletin and Notification addendum notebook that will serve the same function so considering this step to be complete.

NOTIFICATION 14-05-14 IS COMPLETE
