Made battery spacers and battery anti-chaffing strips. Scuffed battery channel with Scotch Brite pad, cleaned with Acetone, then primed with Stewart Systems Ekoprime. Installed and secured battery. Installed master relay, starter relay, and manifold pressure sensor. Installed bolts in attach holes for regulator on firewall shelf. Only had one AN4-3A bolt left so filled the other hole with a -4A bolt (forward hole). (steps 1 through 6).

Top skin already removed so NA (step 1). Installed firewall forward wiring harness and routed wires to proper locations. Installed power wiring harness and routed wires to proper locations. Installed EGT wiring harness and routed wires to proper locations. The EGT harness came without a backshell and the plans are silent about adding one. The kit did come with a 25-pind-sub backshell so used that one. (steps 2 through 4). Not sure why but the pitot tube that was previously installed is plenty long so no need to splice in another tbe for firewall forward. Did route the existing pitot tube thropugh the firewall penetration grommet. (step 6).

Scuffed fuel sensor bracket with Scotch Brite pad, cleaned with Acetone, then primed with Stewart Systems Ekoprime. Modified grommet, installed in sensor bracket, then attached bracket to firewall. Installed fuel sensor and elbow - used Loctite 567 thread sealer. Wired the sensor to the firewall forward harness. (steps 1 through 5)

Routed wires through clamps attached to WD-1221, then crimped spade connectors on EGT wires. Cut off existing spade connectors on the EGT sensor harnesses and crimped on new spade connectors. (steps 1 through 3). Step 4 is for Garmin G3X so is NA.
