Finally received LP4-3 rivets from Van's and started to finish riveting the bottom skin to the fuselage. The compressor started to make weird noises and spitting pieces of black rubber. Looks like the belt started to unravel, got caught in the connecting rod bearing and broke the cooling fan. Need to get a new compressor - this one is 6 years old and did good up to this point.
While removing the noise filter at the fuel pump during skin removal, the body of the filter was deformed. To play it safe, ordered a new noise filter and installed per Section 31B.
