Installed EMS module and backup battery (steps 1 and 2).
Installed WH-00020 skyview harness. Connected "EFIS" connector to AV-5000A control module, 37-pin "EMS" connector to EMS module, 9-pin "EMS" connector to EMS module, and molex connector to backup battery. Installed USB connector to panel base. (step 3).

Installed transponder tray and installed transponder into tray. (step 1 and 2)
Connected transponder antenna cable to transponder. Installed WH-00029 transponder harness. Connected 25-pin "XPNDR" connector to transponder and 9-pin "XPNDR" connector to AV-5000A control module. (steps 3 and 4)

Machine countersunk holes in F-00060 left instrument panel, and removed hatched area from Skyview reinforement angle. Deburred, scuffed parts with Scotch Brite pad, cleaned with Acetone, and primed with Stewart Systems Ekoprime. Riveted reinforcement angle to panel and riveted nutplates to panel. (steps 1 through 3)

Final drilled retaining plate and dimpled mount holes. Based on information from other builders, the wiring rubs against the retaining plate and antenna shelf hole - applicable to my build too. Enlarged both holes so that the wiring passes clear of the holes. Deburred retaining plate, scuffed with Scotch Brite pad, cleaned with Acetone, and primed with Stewart Systems Ekoprime. Installed GPS antenna on retaining plate, then secured retaining plate to antenna shelf. Plans call for AN526C632R8 screws but they were too small so used AN526C832R8 screws. Not sure if the plans are in error or if I installed the wrong nutplates. Either way, retaining plate is secured to the antenna shelf. Installed cushion clamps and routed wires through firewall grommet. (steps 1 through 6).
