During inventory, I tried to place items that will be installed together on the shelf close to each other. I noticed the FLF-00007 push-to-connect elbows next to the ADAHRS box on the shelf but ignored them and blindly followed the plans sent with the avionics kit. The plans called for the F N4MC-2 nylon fittings (saved from the finishing kit) so I installed them. Afterwards, it bugged me that the FLF-00007 elbows were still on the shelf and not sure where they went. Checked the latest release of Section 42C on Van's website and there it was! The plans online called for the FLF-00007 elbows on page 42C-10 - the revision is Rev 5 dated 5/01/2014. The copy sent with the avionics kit is Rev 4 dated 4/03/2014. Not sure why Van's sent the correct parts but outdated plans. Regardless, the as-built configuration complies with the latest hardware and plans.
I need to reprint Section 42C since there are other changes as well that I do not have in the copy sent with the avionics kit.
