Primed tail cone lower skins and frames with A-702 Zinc Phosphate primer.
Masked all applicable areas at aft bulkhead and primed cleaned areas with Stewart Systems Ekoprime.
Removed F-1283A & B J-stiffeners and F-1284-L & -R shear clips from old F-1281-L & -R lower tail cone skins. Cleaned the J-stiffener/shear clip assemblies. Cleaning accomplished by rubbing affected areas with rags soaked in Acetone to remove primer. Most stuff came up but did have to scrub corrosion areas with Scotch Brite pad soaked in Acetone. Some minor pitting but not too bad. Treated with Alumiprep and rinsed with distilled water. After drying, applied Alodine 1201 rinsed with distilled water.
