Items in this entry occured over the last week - too many other things going on!
Touched up upper side of rib flanges (flanges that bottom skin attaches) with primer that the spray gun did not reach.
Deburred all new skins (bottom skin, baggage corner skins, and fuselage corner skins).
Drilled nutplate rivet holes for communication antenna mount (matches original configuration) in bottom skin. Dimpled all nutplate rivet holes for access panels and communication antenna mount in bottom skin. Broke outer edges of bottom skin.
Masked off edges of corner skins and bottom skin that overlap other skins so the edges can be primed. Also masked off the triangular shaped doublers on bottom of bottom skin.
Scuffed all areas to be primed with Scotch Brite pad except for upper surface of bottom skin.
