Brief Description: Chemically Treated Cleaned Areas
Hopefully family obligations are out of the way until next month and I can start making some progress.
Masked off wires and tubing running down center of airplane. Also masked off pitch autopilot servo to minimize wetting with chemicals and water. Cleaned all affected areas (floor skins, seat panels, pilot arm rest, rib flanges, etc.) with Alumiprep and rinsed with distilled water. After drying, applied Alodine 1201 to all areas except rib/bulkhead flanges and rinsed with distilled water. After drying, used Bonderite M-CR 1132 Alodine pen on upper and lower surfaces of all rib and bulkhead flanges and allowed to dry.
