Brief Description: Started Removal of Bottom Skin Rivets
Removed rivets for the following components attached to the bottom skin: - Fuel Shutoff Bracket - Stabilator Pulley Brackets (cables connected but not tensioned) - Mixer Arm Brackets - Fuel Pump Bracket Also, removed the nuts, washers, and upper half of system blocks. Plan to remove lower half of system blocks with skin removed and transfer to new skin prior to installation. Was unable to loosen the fuel pump noise filter that was RTV'd to the bottom skin. Will need to break this loose as the bottom skin is lowered for removal. Removed about every fifth rivet on all rivet rows and clecoed. Next step is to remove all of the remaining rivets and then uncleco and lower bottom skin (fingers crossed that there will be no fuselage bending/twisting).
