Brief Description:  Move Airplane to Trion

With great technical advise from Dave, loaded the airplane on a 78" x 192" flat trailer and moved to Trion GA near it's final resting spot at Blue Mountain Air Park (GE05). The main wheels would have been resting right on the edge of the trailer outer rails and would have been dicey during transport so laid 4' x 8' 3/4" plywood across the trailer bed for a more solid footing. Since the wheel base of the aircraft mains was slightly larger than the inner distance of the trailer wheel wells, decided to move the aircraft mains forward of the trailer wheels wells and the nose on the forward frame of the trailer. Tied down the mains using the false spars which worked out great. The nose gear was tied down at the forward frame of the trailer. The tail rested on a sawhorse that was secured to the trailer and then a strap across the top of the tail to gently hold it against the sawhorse to provide support for the tail. Stopped several times along the 80 mile trip to verify the tie downs were still secure with no shifting. Once at the destination, Brent and Dave provided the brains and brawn (not in that order :)) to unload from the trailer and moved into the garage. Inspected the aircraft at all four tie down points and no dents, dings, or wrinkles noted.
