Replaced bad CHERRYMAX rivet on LH side skin doubler and was successful this time. Used a pneumatic rivet gun instead of by hand. Wasn't so lucky on the same rivet in the LH upper skin attach flange. Popped another rivet that didn't set correctly and do not have anymore CR3213-4-5 CHERRYMAX rivets. Need to get this resolved before re-installing gear.
Step 31 (RH side) Riveted F-1270D side skin doubler to RH side of fuselage.structure. Used pneumatic puller and had no problems with CHERRYMAX rivets.
Step 45 Installed U-1202C-B outboard doubler plate and U-1202D-B outboard wear plate to both sides of center section. Used AN5 bolts to provide alignment, then torqued AN365 nuts on AN509 screws.
