Brief Description: Riveted LH Side Skin Doubler (SB 12-11-09)
Drilled out and replaced CHERRYMAX rivet at aft end of LH upper skin attach flange (see 1/30/2013 entry). Ended up having the same problem. Pressing on with side skin doubler and will come back to this later.
Step 31 (LH Side) Riveted F-1270A side skin doubler to LH side of fuselage.structure. Had the same problem with one CHERRYMAX rivet where stem broke off before being fully set and collar didn't set when looking at the manufactured head. Drilled out and replaced the rivet three times and still have the same problem. Not sure what's going on but the rivet needs to be replaced with a properly set rivet.
