Step 30 (LH side) Tapped aft LH spar pin bushng forward to provide clearance for forward CHERRYMAX rivet on upper skin attach flange. Riveted F-1204U-B-L and F-1204T-2-L skin attach angles to center section using CR3213-4-5 CHERRYMAX rivets. Tapped both L & R spar pin bushings back into original position.
Inspected shop heads and noticed the stem on one of the CHERRYMAX rivets broke off before being fully set. Also noticed that the collar didn't set when looking at the manufactured head. Need to drill out and replace. The first photo shows the hole in the head of the aft rivet where the locking collar didn't set. The second photo shows the aft rivet with the stem not fully set.
