Brief Description: Trimmed Forward Edge of Canopy Fairing
Installed canopy assembly and marked forward upper edge of fiberglass layup. Removed canopy and trimmed upper forward edge of fiberglass. With plenty of help from Denise, removed/installed canopy multiple times after each trimming session. Finally got upper forward edge of fairing to clear upper forward fuselage skin. Noticed that bottom forward edge binds on the horizontal part of the canopy deck when lowering the canopy. After doing a little research, found that other builders trimmed the bottom forward corner as well to eliminate the binding. That will be the next step tomorrow. (page 34-16, partial step 4)
