Removed tape and construction paper from upper forward fuselage, fuselage sides, and floor. Re-drilled holes on each side of canopy. Trimmed lower edges of fiberglass. Installed trim template and traced shape on fiberglass. Removed template. Using Dremel cutting disk, trimmed fiberglass to traced lines. Finished trimming with combination of palm sander, Dremel with sanding drum, and sanding block. (page 34-16, finished step 1, 2, and 3).
