Brief Description: Applied Fibergass on Sides of Canopy
Installed craft paper on floor and secured with painters tape. Applied coat of Meguiar's mold release on packaging tape. Cut away upper edges of canopy foam and filled with flox. Planned to color the epoxy black for aesthetic reasons so bought Tempra powder. Mixed the first batch of epoxy and added tempera. Color looked good in the cup but significantly lightened up when wetting out the first piece of fiberglass. Decided to press on without coloring. Applied all 5 layers of fiberglass on each side. Covered fiberglass lay-up with peel ply. (page 34-14, steps 5 through 8). Page 34-14 is complete
