Sanded exposed surfaces of canopy and skirt. Placed clear packaging tape around perimeter of upper forward fuselage skin. Shaped wood and filled area below canopy foam to provide a firm surface for lower edge of build up. Covered wood with plastic packaging tape to prevent fiberglass from bonding and facilitate removal after canopy assembly is removed. Did not apply wax yet. (page 34-14, partial step 5).
