Brief Description: Connect Rudder Cables to Rudder Pedal Horns
Loosely connected cable links to rudder cables and rudder pedal horns. With the fuselage sitting on its bottom, it was difficult to get into the tunnel area two hands to install cotter pins. Denise gave me a hand in turning the fuselage on its side for easier access. Tightened nuts finger tight and installed cotter pins. Turned fuselage back on its bottom. Denise hopped in and steped on rudder pedals in both directions. Everything was smooth with no binding. Verified that rudder hit stops before rudder pedals reach firewall (about 1/4"to 1/2" clearance) (page 32-13, step 1).
