Continued to work with the spar pin switches to get them to sense when the fuselage pin stopper is in the latch. Finally got the RH side to sense the pin stopper but had to trim the top off of the WD-1217 tube. During initial troubleshooting a few weeks ago, found online where some builders drilled the hole in the arm rest to a larger size so the switch would fit closer to the stopper. I did that on both sides, however, now that the tube is trimmed and the switch fits through the hole in the arm rest, I'm able to get continuity with pin stopper in place but instructions say that there should be an open when the pin is out of the latch. I don't get the open circuit until the stopper is moved inboard away from the latch. I plan on adding a visual of the spar pins as part of preflight so I'm good with how the setup works. Repeated for the LH side. Pulled spar pin interconnect wire through the wire run conduit (also pulled an extra string for future use). Installed butt splices and secured wires out of the way.
